Boston Trip Information

Practice on Friday 1/8:  4-5pm

The Van will leave at 5:15pm

Bring snacks for trip & for breakfast before meet.
Bring extra money for lunch & dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday.  And for any items that may be purchased at meet. 

Check for $175.00 due by Wednesday 1/6. Make check out to Bergen Barracudas.
Cost breakdown:
Van-$50
Hotel (The Hyatt-Regency in Cambridge)-$110
T-shirt-$15

We will swim finals on Saturday night only.  Anyone wishing to stay for finals on Sunday night please let me know so I can make the proper transportation arrangements.


A Note From Jeff- 11/04/2009:

To All Group 1 Parents:
 
As of now you have heard that we were closed out of the Winterfest swim meet on January 9th & 10th.  We are signing everyone up for the Winter Classic at Seton Hall the following weekend.  However I would like to take Group 1 to a trials and finals meet at Boston University on January 9th & 10th.  This would be a great experience for the kids and should be alot of fun.  Going by last years results(New England Swimming) all of our swimmers would make it back to finals in at least 2 events.  To get into the meet I have to get the entries in by Friday,  then they will let us know by November 27 if we are in.  I spoke to them last night and they want us to attend.  We just have to enter ASAP.
 
Please let me know by Friday(Thursday would be better) if your child can attend.  Parents do not have to go to this meet but are welcome to attend.  We will be renting a van and will be traveling as a team.  Swimmers will be rooming together in two or three to a room.  I do need 2 parents to volunteer as chaperon's.  I will have a breakdown for the cost per swimmer after I find out that we have been entered.  
 
I think this will be a great meet and a really good time for the kids.  I would like everyone that can go to attend.  Please let me know ASAP.
