A Note from the board:
Family Volunteer/Fundraising Obligations
Our membership fees only cover the Swim Team's annual expenses. Extra funds for swimmer activities will be raised through fundraising. The main fundraising event is the Swim Meet the team hosts during the season. Each family is obligated by your contract to help out at the hosted Swim Meet sessions. (A session encompasses all the swim events group into the morning or afternoon time periods on a meet day.)
* Go for the Gold Meet, Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9, 2008 (pending confirmation from NJ Swimming)
* Or another meet if we do not get the Go for the Gold Meet
In addition to the swim meets, this year we will be organizing other fundraising events, which we will request your assistance to run. More details will follow.
PARENT OBLIGATION: We cannot emphasize it enough- communicate with your child's coach. Swim practice is like any other sport practice and the coaches want to know if there are issues to be aware of regarding your child.
